• Do I need to declare a major?

  To better plan your educational path at ���ϴ�����, we prefer that all new students declare a major. For international students, we must have a major to declare on your Form I-20. This will also determine which Academic Advisor you will work with. If you decide to change your major, please discuss this with your Advisor and also notify the International Coordinator so a new Form I-20 with your new major can be issued.

• What is the ePortal?

  The ePortal system is for our traditional undergraduate students that gives real-time access to the following information:

  Billing ledger and balance

  Final grades

  Print unofficial transcripts

  Course registrations

  Financial aid information

  The ePortal can be accessed by navigating to:

• Do I need to verify my attendance to the VA?

  Chapter 30, Chapter 1606 and Chapter 1607 students must to the Department of Veterans Affairs on the last day of each month in order to receive payment. Students may verify by using the system or by calling 1-877-823-2378.

  
  

  Most Post-9/11 GI Bill students who receive Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) and/or kicker payments are required to verify enrollment at the end of each month. You may verify with the following options, but the VA highly recommends using text or email verification:

  • When your enrollment is processed by VA, you will receive a text message from VA to opt into text message verification. Reply “YES” to opt-in. Within 24 hours, you will receive a text confirming you have opted in. The text message link will expire in 14 days. After that, you will be automatically enrolled in email verification. If you reply “NO” or cannot receive texts, you will be automatically enrolled in email verification. You don’t need to opt in again for future terms unless you change your mobile phone number.
    
  • If you opt out of text messages, can’t verify by text, or do not have a US mobile phone number, you will be automatically enrolled in email verification at the email address on file with VA. After opting into email verification, you will receive an email from do-not-reply@notifications.va.gov with the subject line, “Confirmation: You’ve been enrolled into VA’s email verification!” and you won’t need to opt in again for future terms unless your email address changes. On the last day of each month, you will receive an email with the subject line, “Action Required: Verify Your Monthly Enrollment”. Select “Yes, my enrollment is the same” to verify your enrollment. If you don’t select a response within 14 days, the links in your email will expire and you will need to call the ECC to verify your enrollment. If your enrollment status has changed, select “No, my enrollment has changed.”
    
  • If these options are unavailable to you, you may call the Education Call Center (ECC) at 1-888-442-4551 to verify enrollment. Please be advised that calling the ECC may result in long wait times.

• If your tuition isn't fully covered by your military benefits?

  If your tuition isn't fully covered by your military benefits, any remaining balance can be paid by cash plan, , federal and/or state grants or loans, or a third-party billing plan. Contact the Billing Office for more information about payment plans at 731-352-8438.
