Title IX and Prevention Services
The Office of Title IX investigates sexual misconduct and relationship violence allegations, as well as provides Title IX training to the Bethel community. Included in the Office of Title IX is Prevention Services, which provides training and programming to address personal safety, sexual misconduct, substance use, suicide awareness, and more. Title IX applies to all of the Bethel community, including students, faculty, and staff.
"ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ does not discriminate and prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, pregnancy or pregnancy-related conditions, or military service, either in the admission of students, in employment, or in the administration of any of its educational policies, programs, or activities. eCHECKUP TO GO is a brief self-assessment tool available for use by students to examine their alcohol or cannabis use. Students can also complete a module focusing on sexual violence prevention. Alcohol and Cannabis eCHECKUPs provide immediate personalized feedback about individual use patterns, specific health and personal consequences, unique personal and family risk factors, campus and community support, and emergency services. Answers are CONFIDENTIAL. No name is attached to the form, and no personally identifiable information from the surveys will be stored.

The Office of Counseling Services
Bethel's Office of Counseling Services provides counseling services to promote self-care, psychotherapy, psych-education, community resources, and consultation per the student’s needs. The student is provided with interventions, techniques, and supportive resources that increase personal strengths, resilience, and stamina for success while attending ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ and transitioning to new opportunities in society. Jackson-Madison County General Hospital Emergency Department
is the only hospital in the local area that provides Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE).
Wo/Men's Resource and Rape Assistance Program (WRAP)
partners with our community to uplift individuals and families whose lives have been traumatized by domestic abuse or sexual assault.
